Doctors/NP

Nisisha Amin, MD

Pediatric Kidney Center, Inc. is the only pediatric nephrology office in Bakersfield. Clinics are held within the offices of Advanced Kidney Medical Group. Dr. Nimisha Amin is the sole pediatric nephrologist within this center. During her training at UCLA, she treated several patients from Bakersfield who were driving over 100 miles just to obtain their sub-specialty care. After finishing fellowship in 2010, Dr. Amin chose to move back home to Bakersfield and open her own practice in pediatric nephrology. She hopes that she can make at least a small difference by allowing some children to now receive their sub-specialty care closer to home.
